The match timings and court allocations indicated in the schedule are provisional and subject to modification at the discretion of the organisers. All participating teams are required to comply with the directions of the organisers in order to ensure the timely and orderly conduct of the tournament.
RULES AND PLAYING CONDITIONS
The court permit is vaid from 7.00 AM to 5.00 PM only. The extension of time will not be possible after 5.00 PM.
The tournament would be played on Legue cum Knockout basis.
The venue will be Kittur Rani Chennamma Stadium, Jayanagar ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/Cb4f91PVZ9fmF7H3A ).
All players should be employees of Computacenter.
Players are not allowed to change their teams in the middle of tournament.
Matches will be played as per the schedule/fixture given.
First aid kits will be available to treat any injuries sustained while playing.
Players/teams who do not turn up 10 minutes after the scheduled time of the match will be assumed to have given a walkover to their opponents.
The players are responsible for to get informed about the match timings.
The tournament organizer reserves the right to change the format if in its opinion, there is no sufficient time to complete the matches.
Teams will be given ONLY 2-minutes warm-up time before the match.
Qualified and professional panel Umpires will be posted for this tournament. During play the decision of the umpires would be final and binding on all players.
All League & Knockout matches shall be played as below.
League Matches: 1 set for 15 points
Semi Finals: best of 3 sets for 15 points
Final: best of 3 sets for 15 points
Top two teams will qualify for the Semi-finals from each group
Teams from league stage will advance to Semi - finals rounds based upon the following criteria:

Set points differential
Set points for
Set points against
If there is a tie considering all the above parameters, then a match of 1 set (25 points) will be played to decide the winner.
3 points for a win, 0 for the loss.
Each team will have 1 timeouts per set, of 30 seconds each.
There will be no Rotation rules, but the service cannot be done by a single person.
During service, both side-throw (disk-throw style) and proper above-shoulder service are allowed. However, while playing the rally, only the proper above-shoulder throw must be used.
There is no limit to the number of substitutions, but substitutions can only be made before the service begins.
Players are allowed to change positions during the match.
If a player touches the ball but it slips through, the next player must immediately catch it and throw it within a fraction of a second.

Service Rules
Service is done after the referee’s whistle.
Service must be made with a single hand throw, from outside the end line.
After service, the player should enter the court immediately.
If the server stamps the end line, it is a foul.
If the service touches the net, it is considered foul. However, during regular play, if ball touches the net is allowed.
Catching & Throwing Rules
While catching the ball, players must not jump.
While throwing, players are allowed to jump.
The ball must be thrown with the same hand used for catching (right-to-right or left-to-left).
While seated on the ground, the player must also throw while sitting.
The ball must be caught and thrown in a single motion without a 'double sound' (no dubs).
Scoring & Match Format
Rally scoring will be used.
All League & Knockout matches shall be played as below.
League Matches: 1 set for 15 points
Semi Finals: best of 3 sets for 15 points
Final: best of 3 sets for 15 points
Dead Box Rules
Players must not step on or inside the dead box lines during play.
Any ball landing on or inside the dead box is considered out.

Walkover Rules
Team which is late by 10 min will loose. Opponent will get a walkover.
Result of a Walkover
The non-offending team will be awarded a 15–0 victory in the league stage.
The offending team will receive a 0–15 loss recorded in the standings.
