Job Description:

Are you enthusiastic about sports and eager to learn the intricacies of sports event management? Sportz Ville invites you to be a Sports Intern - Operations Executive, where you'll be an integral part of our team, contributing to the seamless execution of exciting sports events.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Assist in the end-to-end planning and execution of sports events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.

• Coordinate with event vendors, clients, and partners to ensure seamless event logistics.

• Help manage event schedules, timelines, and participant registrations.

• Support the coordination of event venues, facilities, and technical requirements.

• Contribute to the development of event marketing materials and promotional strategies.

• Assist in creating and distributing event-related communications to participants and stakeholders.

• Provide on-site event support, including registration, participant assistance, and problem-solving.

• Assist in managing event budgets and financial transactions.

• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm creative ideas for enhancing event experiences.

• Learn and implement safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all event participants and staff.

• Participate in post-event evaluations and contribute to reports for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

 

• Genuine passion for sports and a strong understanding of various sports and their unique requirements.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced work environments.

• Positive attitude, proactive approach, and willingness to learn and contribute.

• Previous experience in event management, sports organizations, or customer service is advantageous.

• Must have a valid 2w licence and own a vehicle.
