RULES AND PLAYING CONDITIONS
The court permit is valid from 9 am to 3 pm only. The extension of time will not be possible after 3 pm.
The tournament would be played on Knockout basis.
The venue of the tournament will be Rush Arena, Cooke Town (https://maps.app.goo.gl/LTG2dY55gj3Mf3RXA).
All players should be employees of Volvo organization.
Players are not allowed to change their teams in the middle of tournament.
Matches will be played as per the schedule/fixture given.
Players/teams who do not turn up 10 minutes after the scheduled time of the match will be assumed to have given a walkover to their opponents.
The players are responsible for to get informed about the match timings.
The tournament organizer reserves the right to change the format if in its opinion, there is no sufficient time to complete the matches.
Players should bring their own football running shoes.
5 players on pitch (4 outfield + 1 goalkeeper).
Squad size: up to 8.
Rolling substitutions allowed; must be made at halfway line with referee’s consent.
Matches last 16 minutes (8 min each half) with a 2 min halftime break.
Knockout matches tied at full time go to:
1 Step Penalties (3 per team, then sudden death).
No offside rule.
Kick-ins from sidelines instead of throw-ins.
Goalkeeper:
Must stay inside penalty area.
Can throw or roll
Backpass rule applies — can’t pick up a deliberate pass.
No slide tackles (safety rule).
Opponents must retreat 2 metres from free kicks.
Yellow card = 2 min sin-bin (team plays with 4 players).
Red card = player sent off, cannot be replaced.
Aggressive or unsafe play will lead to disqualification
Respect referees and opponents.
Alcohol strictly banned during matches.
Teams will be given ONLY 2-minutes warm-up time before the match.
Food items, beverages are not allowed inside the court premises.
Qualified and professional panel Umpires will be posted for this tournament. During play the decision of the umpires would be final and binding on all players.
Everyone are instructed to make use of the dustbins provided in the ground to dispose the paper cups, plates, tissues, chocolate papers, tetra packs, rappers etc.
Parking of vehicle is purely at owner’s Risk.
Use of alcohol, smoking, crackers, gas cylinder, generator and any intoxicant substance in the sports complex is strictly prohibited.
Everyone is instructed to make use of the Rest Rooms in the premises.
Organizers are not responsible for the loss of any valuables.
